High School Physics is a two semester class studying Newtonian Physics. Sir Isaac Newton, a devout Christian, presented his laws of motion and infinitesimal (differential) calculus in Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, (Latin for “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy”, often referred to as simply the Principia). This publication forms the basis for classical mechanics, Newton’s law of universal gravitation, and a derivation of Kelper’s laws of planetary motion. It is one of the most important works in the history of science.
Our course covers some of the mathematical relationships, which were presented first in Principia, relating to mechanics, gravitation, light, electricity, and magnetism. A study of these relationships give insight into God’s creative genius and power. It becomes easy to see three amazing things that God has done, and what God will do:
In the beginning of time, God createdIn the fullness of time, God redeemedIn the end of time, God will judge.
